About Fitter
Fitter is an engineering trade in industrial training institute. It deals with assembling, adjusting, manufacturing or installing machinery or equipment.
A fitter studies blueprints, plans and drawings to construct, assemble, manufacture and fit parts of machines, and is also responsible for maintaining and repairing different types of machinery.
It is a job-oriented two year duration course, training candidates for roles such as machine fitting, pipefitting, maintenance of devices, Welder-Fitter, Pipe Fabricator, Mechanical Fitter, Technical Assistant/Technician, Plant Maintenance Fitter and Lathe Machine Operator.
There are five core subjects: Fitter Theory, Engineering Drawing, Fitter Practical, Workshop Calculation and Science, and Employability Skills. After completing ITI in Fitter, you can join a Diploma in any Polytechnic college directly in the 2nd year, and after the Diploma, a BE/B.Tech course directly in the 2nd year.

About Electrician
Electrician is an engineering trade in industrial training institute — one of the best ITI courses for those interested in installing, maintaining, repairing and operating electrical devices like household appliances, lighting, electrical machines and wiring for residences and industries.
It is a job-oriented two year duration course, training candidates for wiring (residential, commercial and industrial), lighting installation, power generation, distribution and transmission systems, insulators, earthing, capacitors and electrical circuits, batteries, servicing of electrical appliances (motors, fans, pumps, AC, fridge etc.), transformers, and AC/DC systems.
Electrician suits candidates interested in the technical workings of electrical machines and motors. Demand for ITI Electrician candidates is high given the widespread use of electrical machines and motors across industries.

Admission Policy
The Institute admits students strictly as per the merit of candidates applied for the respective trade.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates within fifteen days after the declaration of Secondary School Certificate Examination results.
After fifteen days, received applications are scrutinized for eligibility and required documents.
A provisional list of eligible candidates as per inter-se merit is displayed along with submitted and required documents.
Grievances are entertained within two days after the display of the provisional merit list.
The final merit list, along with the admission schedule, is displayed after accepting grievances.
Admissions are done as per schedule by accepting required documents and fees.
Students are admitted purely on merit, based on marks secured in public examinations, as per the maximum number of seats allowed per trade.
We maintain safe custody of documents submitted by students, including birth certificates and previous institution certificates.
Admission Procedure

Dates for different trades are announced.

Advertisements are carried in local areas through paper media, miking, one-to-one canvassing etc.

All enquiries — in person and by phone — are recorded in the register.

An interview date is announced and communicated to potential candidates.

Faculty conduct interviews and written tests as appropriate, selecting candidates based on merit.

Reservation criteria as per NCVT guidelines are adhered to while selecting candidates.

A first list of selected candidates is displayed, and a cut-off date is announced.
8
After the cut-off, a second list is released — a third and fourth follow if necessary.
9
All selected candidates are registered and sent to their respective classes.
