History of Kharagpur Private ITI

Established in 2015, KHARAGPUR PRIVATE ITI is one of the most acclaimed self-financed Industrial Training Institute in West Bengal. It has been established by Educational Foundation and Charitable Organisation(EFCO), a trust known for it's deep sense of social commitment and dedicated to the promotion of education by inculcating appropriate ethics and modern industry oriented systematic training.

In a metamorphosis of three years KHARAGPUR PRIVATE ITI reinventing itself constantly to explore the infinites possibilities of engineering and technology by using digitalised classroom and state of the art infrastructure and facilities - an institute that inspires everyone to think differently. Excellent learning environment with motivational guide and mentorship make us different from others.

The college offers ITI courses in Fitter and Electrician Trade. The well-equipped workshop and state of the art facilities and competent faculty provide an excellent climate for the all round development of the students. It is now the preferred carrier destination for meritorious students due to its academic integrity and standard as well as it attractive campus placement opportunities.

From the inception we strive to ensure steady flow of skilled worker in different field of modern industry to raise quantitatively and qualitatively industrial production by industry oriented training programme, to reduce unemployment among youth by providing them employable training to cultivate and nurture technical attitudes in the mind of the younger generation.

Our basic aim is to produce capable, confident and highly modern knowledgeable technicians and entrepreneurs with global business skills and capable of handling any challenging situation. Hence, every possible effort is being made by our experienced faculty members to enlightened the hidden talents of the students and prepare them in accordance to the present global needs .We also motivate the students according to industry oriented culture and environment, which is the basic requirement in modern times. Moreover our modern infrastructure with digital classroom, fully broadband connected computer lab, well stocked library, modern workshops, fully WiFi enabled campus etc. which are well suited to the needs of the students.

We do not merely believe in conventional methods of classroom study of prescribed syllabus or merely passing prescribed examinations but besides, we arrange seminars, symposiums, workshops and lectures by industry personnel and recruiters for all round development of the students.

We are proud to be academically associated with NATIONAL POWER TRAINING INSTITUTE ( ER) & Mahindra Pride Classroom Program. We are successfully running DSIT - ITI pilot project for training and placement of ITI pass out students. Kharagpur Private ITI is also selected for Skill Development Centre of Rites Ltd. ( Ministry of Railways, Gov of India) in India.
